Well, a deep subject like the snow here!!! We have almost 4 feet of very wet snow over almost 3 days (so far). The temps have been hovering above (mostly) and below 32F (freezing temp). The result has been very, very heavy snow accumulating quickly. While other regions of US have received more, the NE (NY, Pennsylvania, and other further NE US states have been hit hard). Personally, we have about a 50 ft. line of Lilac trees on one property border that are easily 2/3 destroyed from the weight of snow water. Our back border is in the doggies yard, a line of cedar trees very tall. About 1/3 of those are destroyed, but more important most of the snow left on high has through my efforts and John's has come down ... so it does not come down on Helen or Danny. Very heavy stuff. Just trying to keep it off the back 10 by 12 deck has been a chore...a couple inches of the heavy snow accumulates and it needs removing...by me mostly as John has been busy keeping it off the front drive so he can go to calls (he's a fireman, also get accident and medical calls). It's been a very busy past few days!!! Even today while cleaning up it snowed and even rained a bit. More of it is forecast to come.
This all is small to even complain about however!!! Have you heard about the earthquakes in Chili? And Tsunami's forcasted in the Pacific?
Let us pray and/or send good and healing thoughts to Chili and those that may find the weight of real water's wrath come their way. May the water find another way, may those that hurt, heal and may those that heal help others. ~ Robin
